GMB Scotland has become the country’s first trade union to back a new initiative which aims to help people stretch their budgets further and reduce the need for food banks during the cost-of-living crisis.
We are urging our branches to partner with Good Food Scotland in support of Larders which provide fresh, chilled, frozen, long life, and household goods at a low cost. The first six Larders in Glasgow are saving 1,500 households tens of thousands of pounds collectively each year.
