It is so important to celebrate how far women have come, fighting for their rights, their value and fighting to end discrimination.
As women we must celebrate each other and be proud of what women have achieved through history.
The history of the women’s equality is inspirational to us all and we will never forget the strong women who have stood up to ensure all women are counted.
However, we must strive to continue to improve the rights of women - not only for women of this day but the women of our future.
Throughout 2022/2023, the women of the trade union movement have been front and centre, demanding their value and showing the country they WILL achieve gender parity in the workplace.
The women of the trade union movement are creating history and positive change to ensure our daughters, granddaughters, sisters, nieces of the future will be valued and celebrated as they so deserve.
